Kolibrí Festivaali seeks artistic proposals for its 10th anniversary!
The children’s festival, Kolibrí Festivaali, is calling on all artists, cultural creators and educational professionals to help create an exciting program for its 10th anniversary! This open call aims to build a diverse program of children’s activities, welcoming professionals of all backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and disabilities residing in Finland.
Kolibrí will celebrate its 10th birthday in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, and, for the first time, in Tampere, from 13.-27.9.2025. This year, there will be a special open call for creatives who can offer activities in Roma and Sámi languages.
Produced by the multicultural association Kulttuurikeskus Ninho, its approach to diversity, interculturality and accessibility has no counterpart in the Nordic countries.
Submit your artistic proposals by March 10, 2025. The Sámi and Roma open call will accept applications during 3.-31 March.
