Welcome to an open discussion on Zoom on Wednesday, April 16th from 12–2 pm. At the beginning of the event, we will also talk about the effects of cultural budget cuts to the Artists' Association and answer questions.
Artists' Association of Finland, AV-arkki, Frame Contemporary Art Finland and Kuvataiteen talo (House of Visual Arts) have received a project grant from the Ministry of Education and Culture to prepare a roadmap for the merger of actors in the visual arts. The project has started in early 2025.
The project focuses on the possibilities for deepening cooperation and merger of different types of actor networks, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. The roadmap is a tool for development and discussions, and no organization is committed to the merger at this stage.
