We are collecting information on the effects of coronavirus on the earnings of visual artists and on their opportunities for employment in 2021 and in early 2022. We ask visual artists to reply to a short survey by 9th May 2022.
This is the third corona survey conducted by The Artists' Association of Finland. The information on the loss of earnings will be used in cultural policy advocacy work.
We are collecting information on the effects of coronavirus on the earnings of visual artists and on their opportunities for employment in 2021 and in early 2022. The survey is targeted for professional visual artists based in Finland.
The information on the loss of earnings will be used in cultural policy advocacy work such as in determining the need for support funding and other support measures targeted at the sector.
We need your help to be able to provide decision-makers and the authorities with as comprehensive information as possible on the effects of coronavirus on the work of visual artists.
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. The survey has been designed for professional visual artists based in Finland. It comprises three short sections: loss of earnings, support received and background questions. Use estimates in your answers if exact information is unavailable.
You can complete the survey regardless of whether the coronavirus situation has resulted in changes in your work situation or not.
The survey is anonymous. Individual respondents will not be able to be identified from the data published.
